The Torin BIG RED T90803B hydraulic bottle jack is designed for residential and commercial use. It is industrial welded and engineered using a drop forged alloyed steel construction that is ideal for quality and durability.

The inner/outer welded structure and steel construction will keep your bottle jack leak-free and give it an overall stronger build. The fully welded structure is designed for hard-hitting commercial use, making large loads easy to lift. A wide, rugged base adds stability and strength.

The lifting range is 9-1/8" to 18" with a 8 ton (16,000 lb) capacity. It features a high-quality glide-action pressure pump designed to lift with minimal muscle and effort and has an integrated built-in oil-bypass and overload valve that protects the hydraulic system from extending beyond its travel limits.

Hydraulics are powered with a high-quality oil, which offers better corrosion resistance and high/low temperature flexibility, allowing the unit to operate at temperatures between 40 degrees Fahrenheit and 105 degrees Fahrenheit. Piston ram utilizes a Y-style polyurethane sealing ring with backup ring, preventing the load from falling slowly.

This powerful bottle jack is ideal for lifting cars, trucks, SUVs, farm vehicles, heavy-duty machinery and industrial equipment. It can also be used for military applications, agricultural and industrial environments where the equipment receives heavier abuse.

Works great for my SUV

Jack itself: not raised is about 8.5". Raised without extension 14.5". Raised with extension 17"

Handles: Large 8.5". Thinner one ~8.5". Put together you get 15.75"

Now the review, This is perfect for my SUV (GMC Envoy) It lifts it effortlessly and has plenty of lift space. One thing I learned is that the top of the jack, the checkered piece is an extension! Just twist it counter clockwise and you get an extra 2-3" of lift. The only thing I don't like about this is how you release the pressure, it can be a pain if your handle is slippery or if your hands are greasy. But it's not a big deal at all :) If you have a vehicle with at least 8" of ground clearance, I'd definitely recommend this for you. And what's great is that it's not big or bulky at all! The box it comes in is 5" x 4" x 9" So you can easily store it anywhere with no problem.
